Today was the last day for Quilt Symposium Wellington. The next one will be held in Queenstown 2011.
Today I was an 'angel' in Sue Nickels' class, doing machine applique - I learnt a few tricks to keep my work a lot neater, which is a bonus. Sue's sister, Pat Holly, had also come to New Zealand with her. Pat works alongside Sue with quilts and designing. Pat had a morning doing the Hobbit Tour of Wellington - visiting the sites on Mt Victoria and Weta Workshop.

Erilyn I am so wrapped that you got an award after all your hard work and creativity. You are an inspiration!! I hope you are still smiling from ear to ear ... you so deserve this.
