Wandering in the 'Forest'

A dear friend has her birthday today, so 4 of us got together for lunch at her place to celebrate. We then had the tour of the garden and environs - she lives in the country in the husband's old family home. Here are some lovely 'spring' snapshots from the tour:

This is a felt chocolate cupcake with vanilla cinnamon icing and a cool little chocolate 'star', contained in a lacy case:

 and this one is made in a small tea cup (as they originally were) with hand painted violets. Again, felt around a styrofoam ball so you don't completely loose your pins!
