Another UFO Finished

This was going to be a 21st present, but I got talked out of giving it, so it is now finished and in the "To Sell" pile. I really liked the juxtaposition of funky pictures, bright colours and (by themselves) ugly fabrics. The border is a cotton sateen, so has a slight sheen to it.
Close-up of the corner border quilting.
Finished size 1.76m (69.5").

Very nice!! Have you free motioned the feather border or have you marked it somehow? If you have marked it how have you done it?

Hi Tizart. I pin marked the number of valleys and hills so that there were the same number on each border, plus the mid-point on the corners. Everything from there was free motion. If you can check out Diane Gaudynski's book; Quilt Savvy: Gaudynski's Machine Quilting Guidebook, it is really helpful for doing feathers. I couldn't do them without paper, pencil, you name it! I found this book such a fantastic help, that I HAVE to do feathers somewhere on a quilt, now!
