Aren't these Christmas Puddings fun? I found the pattern in a newsletter and had to make one - did get carried away and as you can see I have made 4!
Here is another colourway of the last table runner - I also added another border under the Prairie Points to make it easier for finishing off. I didn't even quilt this border, just the corners - lovely citrus-y colours. Used some of these fabrics in the strippy runner, next. I love how fresh they look together - have made 3 in these colours. They measure approximately 34" x 17" and the tutorial can be found here.
I think that these give you a great opportunity to practice quilting designs, although I was lazy with one and just meandered! Lovely gifts!

You're so productive Erilyn. I want to do little things next. These challenges are too time consuming BECAUSE I make it so .. I know! I get carried away .. haha.. anyway It will be Different. I hope you had a great trip away yesterday . Certainly loved the little bags.. what a neat idea.
We had a lovely day - bought a couple of things that weren't on the list - only one for me, so not too bad! I've decided to make little things in between the finishing UFO's - otherwise I get too bored just piecing or quilting or cutting and not having a variety. Besides the bags and table runners make nice gifts, eh?
Oh these are so beautiful ma! Can I please please buy one? or take lessons from you to make one? they rock!
oh ma, you spelt stripey wrong in your 'tag'- (it's not strippy!) shame on you!
An Ah Ha! moment. Anina, the lady who designed this table runner has called them strippy! Heh heh - got you this time! and you think alzheimer's is setting in with me already!
Oh I get it! Strippy as in strips of material! I thought it was supposed to be stripes. Don't worry ma, you've still got a few more years... x
