Finished "Quilt in a Day" - Flower Fairies
Here it is, all completely finished. Measures 34.25" (87cm)wide x 50.5" (128.5cm)long. I sure hope the buyer likes it - I think it's pretty. Flower Fairies by Cicely Mary Barker.
There's something about those flower fairies - reminds me of my Grans' Girl's Own Annuals - I just loved reading them! Of course I'm talking of the annuals from the last century :-) Gran would be well over 100 years old if she was still alive.
Oh that is just one of the prettiest ones ever! I think the stippling also adds to the swirly pretty flowery nature of it -well done! and well done on the quilt-in-a-day! maybe you should reconsider doing some work for an exhibition now...
