How exciting! The flowers last for ages, if you water them correctly.

They are wonderful plants. Your pictures have now made me want to rush out and buy one. I haven't had a bromeliad in my house for years. :)
Yes, I think I'll have a look at a different colour and/or shape - it that's possible!
